PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina in the upstream oil and gas sector until mid-October 2017, produces 77,500 barrels of oil per day (BoPD) and gas 1,000 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).
Exploration & New Discovery Project Director of Pertamina EP Achmad Alfian Husein said the company's oil and gas production is still below the target of the Company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) 2017. Pertamina EP's oil production target by the end of this year reaches more than 80,000 BOPD.
"Target RKAP more than 80,000 BOPD, most until the end of the year around 77,500-78.000 BOPD, but our goal how to produce a proper," said Alfian after providing assistance Pertamina EP CSR in Forest Protection Mount Malabar, District Bandung, West Java.
The achievement of oil production is indeed lower than the realization in the same period of the previous year. Nevertheless, he ensured that Pertamina EP's oil production decline is still below 5% compared to the realization as per October 2016.
Alfian explained that the decline in oil production due to the difficulty of finding new wells and lifting oil. Therefore, Pertamina EP continues to explore new wells so that the company's future operations will run smoothly and more efficiently.
"We have acceleration to produce exploration findings in Big Bamboo, Karawang, and Jati Asri, Subang, from its 2018 target can be executed in second semester / 2017 for the production of riasional" he said.
Meanwhile, in the corporate social responsibility activities, Pertamina EP conducted nature conservation activities through the release of five Java Owa to the Gunung Malabar Protected Forest. This action coincides with International Gibbon Day.
"We are committed to supporting nature conservation activities such as the rehabilitation of the Java Owa, this support is done like funding for the Java Owa reintroduction program," he said.
Besides supported by Pertamina EP Asset 3 Subang Field, this nature conservation activity is also supported by cooperation of Owa Jawa Foundation, Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Balai Besar Gede Pangrango National Park (BBTNGGP), Center for Natural Resources Conservation (BBKSDA) West Java, Perum Perhutani, Conservation international Indonesia, and Silvery Gibbon Project.
Director General of Natural Resources Conservation and Ecosystem of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Wiratno said, currently the population of the Java Javan is threatened with extinction because the population in Java Island only left no more than 5%. He hopes this wild animal release could increase Owajawa's population.

Produksi Pertamina EP Capai 77.500 Barel
PT Pertamina EP anak usaha PT Pertamina di sektor hulu minyak dan gas hingga pertengahan Oktober 2017 memproduksi minyak sebesaar 77.500 barel per hari (BoPD) dan gas 1.000 juta standar kaki kubik per hari (MMSCFD).
Exploration & New Discovery Project Director Pertamina EP Achmad Alfian Husein mengatakan, produksi minyak dan gas perseroan masih dibawah target Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Perusahaan (RKAP) 2017. Target produksi minyak Pertamina EP hingga akhir tahun ini mencapai lebih dari 80.000 BOPD.
"Target RKAP lebih dari 80.000 BOPD, paling sampai akhir tahun sekitar 77.500-78.000 BOPD, tetapi tujuan kita bagaimana memproduksi secara proper,” kata Alfian seusai memberi bantuan CSR Pertamina EP di Hutan Lindung Gunung Malabar, Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat.
Pencapaian produksi minyak tersebut memang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan realisasi pada periode sama tahun sebelumnya. Meski demikian, dia memastikan penurunan produksi minyak Pertamina EP masih di bawah 5% dibandingkan dengan realisasi per Oktober 2016.
Alfian menjelaskan, menurunnya produksi minyak perseroan disebabkan sulitnya mencari sumur-sumur baru dan mengangkat minyak. Karena itu, Pertamina EP terus melakukan eksplorasi sumur baru sehingga kedepan operasional perusahaan tetap berjalan lancar dan lebih efisien.
”Kita ada percepatan menghasilkan temuan eksplorasi di Bambu Besar, Karawang, dan Jati Asri, Subang, dari targetnya 2018 bisa dieksekusi pada semester II/2017 untuk produksi riasional" ujarnya.
Sementara dalam kegiatan tanggungjawab sosial perusahaan, Pertamina EP melakukan kegiatan konservasi alam melalui pelepasan lima Owa Jawa ke Hutan Lindung Gunung Malabar. Aksi ini bertepatan dengan International Gibbon Day (Hari Owa internasional).
"Kami berkomitmen mendukung kegiatan pelestarian alam seperti rehabilitasi Owa Jawa, dukungan ini dilakukan seperti pendanaan untuk program reintroduksi Owa Jawa," ujarnya.
Selain didukung Pertamina EP Asset 3 Subang Field, kegiatan konservasi alam ini juga berkat kerja sama Yayasan Owa Jawa, Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK), Balai Besar Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango (BBTNGGP), Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (BBKSDA) Jawa Barat, Perum Perhutani, Conservation international Indonesia, dan Silvery Gibbon Project.
Direktur Jenderal Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam dan Ekosistem kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Wiratno mengatakan, saat ini populasi Owa Jawa terancam punah karena populasinya di Pulau Jawa hanya tersisa tidak lebih dari 5%. Dia berharap pelepasan liar satwa ini bisa meningkatkan populasi Owajawa.
