PEP Prepares US $ 700 Million

PT Pertamina Exploration and Production will allocate US $ 700 million of capital expenditure in 2018 to support oil and gas exploration and exploitation activities in a number of areas.

This year, Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina, has a capital expenditure prognosis of approximately US $ 636 million. Actual absorption of capital expenditures up to September 2017 reached 68%.

CEO of PT Pertamina EP Nanang Abdul Manaf said that in 2018 the company will be more aggressive to conduct various exploration activities and oil and gas exploitation. This is in line with the number of approved wells, which are 70 development wells, about 14 exploration wells and some seismic activities such as Klamono Field, Tanjung, Pendopo and Jirak (Musi Banyu Asin, South Sumatra).

"For 2015 [capital expenditure] capex, we have not changed about US $ 700 million. This year from a prognosis of US $ 636 million, up to September accounted for 68%, as we are aggressive in the months leading up to the end of the year such as adding rigs and increased activity. He expects that the world oil price can rise above US $ 50 per barrel so that it supports the company to develop various activities to increase oil and gas production, one of Pertamina EP's enhanced oil refovery (EOR) method, said Nanang, currently faced with challenges to increase production more efficiently, the age of the oil and gas field is relatively mature enough. Rantau Field, for example, was discovered in 1940 and is still production. Similarly, Tanjung Field, Teak Goods and others.

Until the end of the year, according to Nanang, the company's oil production is estimated at 78,000 barrels per day (bpd) and 778 million cubic feet per day (MMscfd). Nanang targets PEP oil production next year to increase, at 83,000 bpd of oil in accordance with the company's budget work plan (RKAP) 2018 and about 790 MMscfd for gas.

RANTAU FIELD

Separately, Field Manager of Pertamina EP Asset I Richard Muthalib said that oil and gas production from Rantau Field as of October 18, 2017 has exceeded the target in the 2017 RKAP.

"The oil production of Penamina Field Rantau reaches 2,495 barrels per day, or 107.6% of the target of 2,319 barrels per day. Actual gas production reached 3.91 MMscfd or 142.7% of the target in RKAP of 2.74 MMscfd, "said Richard.

Furthermore, Nanang explained that the overall oil production of the company is currently relatively down slightly ranging from 69,000-70,000 bpd. However, the decline is more influenced by the production of partnerships (Pertamina EP partners) that face a number of factors.

"For example Sukowati field, it's 80% Pertamina EP and 20% by JOB-PPEJ. Last January, our 80% share was still 11,000 barrels, now living 6,500 barrels. "

Associated with gas production, since June 2017 Pertamina EP production, has reached above 1 billion cubic feet. this is underpinned by production from Matindok which is steady at 45 MMscfd, plus production from Musi up around 15-20 MMscfd with the installation of a new compressor.

"So we are arguably a gas player because gas production is more dominant than oil. Now Pertamina EP 2/3 production or income is already from gas. Sales are now around 780s MMscfd sold to a number of industries such as fertilizer, steel, petrochemicals and electricity to PLN. "

Pertamina EP hopes that in the future oil and gas production will increase significantly due to new fields. In relation to the environmental conservation program, Pertamina EP again realize its commitment by inaugurating Tuntong Information House (RI) in Pusung Kapal Village, Seruway Sub-district, Aceh Tamiang District.

PEP Siapkan US$ 700 Juta

PT Pertamina Eksplorasi dan Produksi akan mengalokasikan belanja modal sekitar US$ 700  juta pada 2018 untuk mendukung kegiatan eksplorasi dan eksploitasi minyak dan gas bumi di sejumlah wilayah kerjanya. 

Pada tahun ini, Pertamina EP (PEP), anak usaha PT Pertamina, memiliki prognosa belanja modal sekitar US$ 636 juta. Realisasi penyerapan belanja modal hingga September 2017 mencapai 68%.

CEO PT Pertamina EP Nanang Abdul Manaf mengatakan bahwa pada 2018 perusahaan akan lebih agresif melakukan berbagai kegiatan eksplorasi dan eksploitasi migas. Hal ini seiring dengan jumlah sumur yang sudah disetujui, yaitu 70 sumur pengembangan, sekitar 14 sumur eksplorasi dan melanjutkan beberapa kegiatan seismik seperti di Lapangan Klamono, Tanjung, Pendopo dan Jirak (Musi Banyu Asin, Sumatra Selatan).

“Untuk capex [belanja modal] 2018, kami tidak berubah sekitar US$ 700-an juta. Tahun ini dari prognosa US$ 636 juta, hingga September terserap 68%, karena kami agresif pada beberapa bulan menjelang akhir tahun seperti menambah rig dan aktivitas meningkat. Kami optimistis untuk tahun depan,” kata Nanang, pada rangkaian kegiatan Peresmian Rumah Informasi Tuntong, di Kuala Simpang, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, Rabu (25/10).

Dia mengharapkan bahwa harga minyak dunia dapat menguat di atas US$ 50 per barel sehingga mendukung perusahaan untuk mengembangkan berbagai kegiatan guna meningkatkan produksi migas, salah satunya metode enhanced oil refovery (EOR) Pertamina EP, ujar Nanang, saat ini dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk meningkatkan produksi dengan lebih efisien, mengingai usia lapangan migas yang relatif cukup matang. 

    Lapangan Rantau misalnya, ditemukan pada 1940 dan sampai sekarang masih produksi. Demikian pula dengan Lapangan Tanjung, Jati Barang dan lainnya.

“Biaya produksi kami itu kalau direct US$ 16 per barel. Namun, kalau operation cost sebesar US$ 22-US$ 23 per barel. Kami ingin lebih efisien lagi sehingga saat ini bekerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi seperti ITB, IPB, dan UGM agar produksi menjadi lebih efisien," jelas Nanang.

Hingga akhir tahun menurut Nanang, produksi minyak perseroan diperkirakan di kisaran 78.000 barel per hari (bph) dan gas 778 juta kaki kubik per hari (MMscfd). Nanang menargetkan produksi migas PEP pada tahun depan dapat meningkat, yakni 83.000 bph minyak sesuai dengan rencana kerja anggaran perusahaan (RKAP) 2018 dan sekitar 790 MMscfd untuk gas.

LAPANGAN RANTAU

Dalam kesempatan terpisah, Field Manager Rantau Pertamina EP Asset I Richard Muthalib mengatakan bahwa produksi migas dari Lapangan Rantau per 18 Oktober 2017 telah melampaui target dalam RKAP 2017.

“Produksi minyak Penamina Field Rantau mencapai 2.495 barel per hari, atau 107,6% dari sasaran sebesar 2.319 barel per hari. Realisasi produksi gas mencapai 3,91 MMscfd atau 142,7% dari target dalam RKAP sebesar 2,74 MMscfd,” kata Richard.

Lebih lanjut, Nanang menjelaskan bahwa secara keseluruhan produksi minyak perusahaan saat ini relatif turun sedikit berkisar 69.000-70.000 bph. Namun, penurunan tersebut lebih dipengaruhi produksi dari kemitraan (mitra Pertamina EP) yang menghadapi sejumlah faktor.

“Misalnya lapangan Sukowati, itu 80% Pertamina EP dan 20% oleh JOB-PPEJ. Januari lalu, bagian kami 80% itu masih 11.000 barel, sekarang tinggal 6.500 barel."

Terkait dengan produksi gas, sejak Juni 2017 produksi Pertamina EP, sudah mencapai di atas 1 miliar kaki kubik. ini ditopang oleh produksi dari Matindok yang stabil di angka 45 MMscfd, ditambah produksi dari Musi naik sekitar 15-20 MMscfd dengan dipasangnya kompresor baru.

“Jadi kami boleh dibilang gas player karena produksi gas lebih dominan daripada minyak. Sekarang produksi atau pendapatan Pertamina EP 2/3 sudah dari gas. Penjualannya sekarang sekitar 780an MMscfd yang dijual ke sejumlah industri seperti pupuk, baja, petrokimia dan listrik ke PLN.”

Pertamina EP berharap agar ke depannya produksi migas akan meningkat lebih signifikan karena adanya lapangan-lapangan baru. Terkait dengan program konservasi lingkungan, Pertamina EP kembali mewujudkan komitmennya dengan meresmikan Rumah Informasi Tuntong (RI) di Desa Pusung Kapal, Kecamatan Seruway, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang.

Program pelestarian Tuntong Laut (Batagur Borneoensis) ini merupakan bukti keberhasilan lintas instansi dan masyarakat, yaitu antara Pertamina EP, Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan yang dalam hal ini diwakili Badan Koordinator Sumber Daya Alam (BKSDA), Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, Yayasan Satucita Lestari Indonesia (YSLI) dan masyarakat.

“”Tuntonglaut [sejenis kura-kura] yang merupakan salah spesies asli Indonesia yang sedang terancam kelestariannya. Peresmian Rumah Informasi Tuntong laut ini merupakan suatu komitmen dalam upaya perlindungan spesies tuntong laut yang saat ini sudah mengalami penurunan populasi dan hampir punah.”

Untuk itu, perlu upaya pencegahan, penanggulangan, dan pembatasana kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh manusia, alam, spesies invasif, hama dan penyakit.
