ESDM Minister Ignasius Jonan overhauls SKK Migas officials. Some of the officials came from professional circles. For example, former President Director of PT Krakartau Steel Tbk Sukandar "became Deputy Head of SKK Migas Sukandar replaced Zikrullah and Secretary of SKK Migas Budi Agustyono was replaced by Arief Setiawan Handoko, who is Vice President of ConocoPhillips.
Gunawan Sutadiwiria's Deputy for Oil and Gas Planning (SKK Migas) was replaced by Jafee Arizon Suardin, Deputy Energy Minister Arcandra Tahar. Furthermore Fatar Yani Abdurrahman who is an executive in Petronas replaces Muliawan as Deputy for Operations Control.
Finally, Rudianto Rimbono, Deputy of Business Support Control, was replaced by M Atok Urrahman, formerly an expert staff at the Supervisory Commission of SKK Migas. With this reshuffle, President Joko Widodo advised to continue the efficiency.
If the cost of upstream oil and gas is not efficient, then other industries can not compete. "I do not ask for higher production, it will be with KKKS, but you all have to keep it more efficient," said Jonan, at the inauguration, Friday (26/5).
The second problem that is expected to be fixed soon by the new official is about the permit process in SKK Migas that is too long. "I do not want to hear any more people protest to me," said Jonan.

Misalnya, mantan Direktur Utama PT Krakartau Steel Tbk Sukandar" menjadi Wakil Kepala SKK Migas. Sukandar menggantikan Zikrullah. Selain itu, Sekretaris SKK Migas Budi Agustyono digantikan oleh Arief Setiawan Handoko, yang merupakan Vice President ConocoPhillips.
Deputi Perencanaan SKK Migas Gunawan Sutadiwiria digantikan Jafee Arizon Suardin, Tenaga Ahli Wakil Menteri Energi Arcandra Tahar. Selanjutnya Fatar Yani Abdurrahman yang merupakan eksekutif di Petronas menggantikan Muliawan sebagai Deputi Pengendalian Operasi.
Terakhir, Rudianto Rimbono, Deputi Pengendalian Dukungan Bisnis, digantikan oleh M Atok Urrahman, yang sebelumnya staf ahli di Komisi Pengawas SKK Migas. Dengan perombakan ini, Presiden Joko Widodo berpesan agar efisiensi terus dilakukan.
Jika biaya di hulu migas tidak efisien, maka industri lainnya tidak bisa bersaing. "Saya tidak minta produksi lebih tinggi, itu nanti dengan KKKS. Tapi anda semua harus menjaga supaya lebih efisien. Kalau hulu migas tidak efisien, nanti yang Iainnya sangat tidak efisien," jelas Jonan, saat pelantikan, Jumat (26/5).
Masalah kedua yang diharapkan bisa segera diperbaiki oleh pejabat baru tersebut adalah soal proses perizinan di SKK Migas yang terlalu lama. "Saya tidak mau mendengar lagi orang protes ke saya," tegas Jonan.
