PGN Net Income Rp 1.29 T

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) recorded good performance during the first quarter of 2017. Amid falling oil prices and a fluctuating exchange rate, PGN booked a net profit of USD 96.83 million or around Rp 1.29 trillion.

"PGN's performance is improving in global conditions and fluctuations in the rupiah against the US dollar," said PGN Corporate Secretary Heri Yusup.

Heri admitted, if the company's profit in the first quarter-2017 is indeed lower than the same period in the previous year amounted to USD 100.64 million or Rp 1.3 trillion.

In fact, the company's revenue increased to USD 746.03 million from the previous USD 720.39 million. While operating profit amounted to USD 155.7 million, while EBITDA in the first quarter of 2017 amounted to USD 254 million.

Hari explained that during the period of March-March 2017, PGN distributed transmission gas and distribution of 1,542 million standard cubic feet per day / Mmscfd, down compared to the same period last year of 1,643 MMSFD.

With the details of the volume of gas distribution of 816 MMscfd, up compared to the same period last year of 797 MMscfd and the volume of transmission or transportation of natural gas of 726 MMscfd, down compared to the same period last year amounted to 846 MMscfd.

He said, in line with the government's efforts to boost the national economy, PGN is optimistic that the company's performance will improve.

PGN Bukukan laba Bersih Rp 1,29 T

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) mencatatkan kinerja yang baik sepanjang kuartal I-2017. Di tengah harga minyak yang masih mengalami penurunan signifikan serta nilai tukar rupiah yang berfluktuasi, PGN dapat membukukan Iaba bersih sebesar USD 96,83 juta atau sekitar Rp 1,29 triliun.

“Kinerja PGN tercatat semakin membaik di  saat kondisi global dan fluktuasi nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS,” kata Sekretaris Perusahaan PGN Heri Yusup.

Diakui Heri, jika laba perseroan pada Kuartal I-2017 tersebut memang lebih rendah dibandingkan periode yang sama di tahun sebelumnya sebesar USD 100,64 juta atau sebesar Rp 1,3 triliun.

Padahal, pendapatan perseroan tercatat mengalami kenaikan menjadi USD 746,03 juta dari sebelumnya sebesar USD 720,39 juta. Sedangkan laba operasi sebesar USD 155,7 juta, adapun EBITDA di kuartal I 2017 sebesar USD 254 juta. 

Hari menjelaskan, selama periode Januai-Maret 2017, PGN menyalurkan gas bumi transmisi dan distribusi sebesar 1.542 million standard cubic feet per day/Mmscfd, turun dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu sebesar 1.643 MMSFD. 

Dengan rincian yaitu Volume gas distribusi sebesar 816 MMscfd, naik dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu sebesar 797 MMscfd dan Volume transmisi atau pengangkutan gas bumi sebesar 726 MMscfd, turun dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu sebesar 846 MMscfd. 

Dia mengatakan, sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan perekonomian nasional, PGN optimistis kinerja perusahaan juga akan semakin baik.
