PT Pertamina EP (PEP) plans to undertake massive exploration this year to increase reserves and production of oil and gas. A number of development projects are also on stream in the coming months. Daily Acting President PEP Nana Abdul Manaf said the massive exploration undertaken to pursue additional targets oil and gas reserves of 78.19 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe). In addition, the company is targeting the findings of resources (2C) 321 mmboe.
On the production side, this year PEP set a target of 83 865 barrels of oil per day (bopd). That daring higher than the realization of the whole 2016 amounted to 83 674 bopd. While gas production amounted to 1,042 MMSCFD (million standard cubic feet per day) or greater than the realization in 2016 amounted to 989 MMSCFD.
To achieve the target, Pertamina EP seeks to maximize the number of development projects. Among them, Donggi Matindok, Paku Gajah, Cikarangan Tegal Racing Development Project, and Jirak Field. Besides Jirak, three development projects has been produced (on stream) in March-April 2017.

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) berencana melakukan eksplorasi secara masif tahun ini untuk meningkatkan cadangan dan produksi migas. Sejumlah proyek pengembangan juga on stream dalam beberapa bulan mendatang. Pelaksana Tugas Harian Presiden Direktur PEP Nanang Abdul Manaf menyatakan, eksplorasi masif dilakukan untuk mengejar target tambahan cadangan migas 78,19 juta barel setara minyak (mmboe). Selain itu, perseroan menargetkan temuan sumber daya (2C) 321 mmboe.
Daei sisi produksi, tahun ini PEP menetapkan target 83.865 barel minyak per hari (bopd). Itu berani lebih tinggi daripada realisasi sepanjang 2016 sebesar 83.674 bopd. Sementara produksi gas sebesar 1.042 mmscfd (juta kaki kubik per hari) atau lebih besar dari realisasi 2016 sebesar 989 mmscfd.
Untuk mencapai target tersebut, Pertamina EP berupaya memaksimalkan sejumlah proyek pengembangan. Di antaranya, Donggi Matindok, Paku Gajah, Cikarangan Tegal Racing Development Project, dan Lapangan Jirak. Selain Jirak, tiga proyek pengembangan tersebut sudah memproduksi (on stream) pada Maret-April 2017.
